If you’re gathering with a large group of friends and family over the holidays, chances are you may not have enough dishware for the entire party. If disposable plates, forks and napkins are in your dining future think about dishware that is environmentally friendly. Instead of using non-recyclable materials like Styrofoam, check out products that are reusable, recyclable, compostable or made from recycled or sustainable materials. Many manufactures are now carrying “green” lines of their most popular products that are of equal quality and at similar costs to conventional items. Today you can find stylish disposable tableware made from sustainable materials like sugarcane and bamboo to those made with recycled products like paper fiber and plastic. Harmons makes it easy for you to identify these types of items by grouping them together along side the other disposable dishware products. If you’re holiday dinner table requires more settings than your cupboards can dish out, think about adding a little more green to your menu.
