This week is National Apple Week, and there is no better way to celebrate than by including this fabulous fruit in your diet!

What makes apples so great?
- Apples are naturally fat-free, sodium-free, and low in calories.
- Most Americans do not get the recommended 25-35g of fiber each day. Eating one large apple a day will provide about 5g of fiber, helping you meet your fiber needs.
- Diets high in the phytochemicals (like those found in apples) may reduce your risk for cancer, heart disease, and age-related eye diseases.
