BOOKS & BITES: Blood, Bones & Butter Item No. BBBB20121114
Class enrollment is closed.
Harmons and Weller Book Works generate bestseller book buzz this month with Blood, Bones & Butter – The Inadvertent Education of a Reluctant Chef by Gabrielle Hamilton. A book club must-read, BB&B “flings open the kitchen door to expose the back-breaking toil and passionate obsession of a world-class chef” says O: The Opra Magazine. “Tough, tender, gritty, dreamy” says The Miami Herald. Mr. Irreverent himself—Anthony Bourdain--says “Magnificent. Simply the best memoir by a chef ever.” After years of hardship, Hamilton finally gets to captain her own ship—a NYC East Village breakfast & brunch restaurant called Prune. Our book-club-in-the-kitchen is hosted by Weller Book Works Buyer and Raconteuse Catherine Weller.
