Languedoc is a land of firsts! The first sparkling wine, predating Champagne, the first classified cheese, and the first vines planted in France around 150 BC! French Wine Scholar Sheral Schowe, will lead you through a delicious tasting of six wines; sparkling, white, red, and dessert, paired with cheeses from France. Sheral returned from a tour of the Languedoc this week and will have stories about the wines, the people who make them, and the healthiest winemaking practices in the world. Delicieux!
