South American Wines and New World Cheeses
Chile and Argentina have one of the longest wine making histories of the new world. Missionaries from Spain, planted grapes with the conquistadors, in the mid sixteenth century, and later, Italy and France brought their vines, which continue to thrive on the same rootstock. Harmons wine educator Sheral Schowe, will lead you through a tasting of the best examples from each of these countries, paired with cheeses from California, France, Spain, and Italy.
