Grapes are Peak of the Season!

Grapes are truly magical. These berries produce many widely loved favorites:

Fruit juice
Jams and Jellies
Raisins, Golden Raisins, and Currants
Grapeseed oil and Extract

Let’s not forget about the regular grape! The firm, juicy fruits are excellent for snacking and sneaking seasonal taste into your diet. Here are some fun ideas for peak of season grapes:

Freeze for a tasty treat that tastes like a popsicle
Use frozen grapes as festive “ice” cubes
Add frozen grapes and peanut butter to make a PB&J smoothie
Make a quick pickle with chopped grapes, vinegar and a pinch of salt to top fish or chicken
Roast halved grapes and sliced fennel for a sweet and savory side dish
Halve for a salad with greens and goat cheese – a 3G salad! Greens, goat cheese, and grapes 🙂
Thinly slice and add to sparkling mocktails or cocktails
