3 Smoothies Made for the Summer

Enjoy this summer with a smoothie! Right now, there are a lot of fruit and vegetables in season that you don't want to miss out on. What are they? Peaches, strawberries, rhubarb, plum and cherries, just to name a few. 

 

Strawberry Rhubarb Smoothie

Ingredients:

1 stalk rhubarb (chopped)

1 handful strawberries (diced)

1 banana (fresh or frozen)

1 cup almond milk

1/3 cup ice

 

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend under smooth. Enjoy! 

 

 

Peach Cobbler Smoothie

 

Ingredients:

1 cup peaches (sliced)

1 cup almond milk

1 tsp cinnamon

1 tsp vanilla

4 Tbsp old fashioned oats

1 Tbsp flax seed (ground)

1 Tbsp agave

 

Instructions:

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until fully smooth. Top with fresh peaches and enjoy! 

 

Cherry & Plum Smoothie

 

Ingredients:

1 cup cherries (frozen & pitted)

1 plum (diced)

1 cup coconut yogurt (plain)

1/2 tsp fresh ginger

1/4 tsp cinnamon

 

Ingredients:

Add all ingredients to a blender. Blend until smooth. Enjoy!
