From produce to pancake mix, we're local as heck! Harmons carries more than 2,300 local products and loves looking for more. We pride ourselves on providing our shoppers with the most and best local options Utah has to offer.
Not only does Harmons support local vendors by putting their products on our shelves, we award three local companies with a $5,000 local vendor grant! This year our local grant winners are Bar 10 Beef, Hollow Tree Honey, and McFarland Family Farms. Each of these vendors is working to better Utah communities in so many different ways
Founded by husband and wife, Tony and Ruby Heaton, Bar 10 Beef is a local ranch on the Utah/Arizona border that raises handcrafted 100 percent grass-fed beef. The Heatons start crafting better beef from the ground up by working with the soil to grow better grass without pesticides and other chemicals. By only feeding their Red Devon cattle natural, healthy grass from the beginning, they craft high-quality beef full of nutrients.
Local honey from local bees! Hollow Tree Honey has hives in both the Salt Lake and Davis counties to bottle honey right out of the Wasatch Mountains. Celebrating honey just as the bees intend it, Hollow Tree doesn't heat or filter their honey which means it's completely raw and has a richer, more unique flavor that changes with the seasons. Amazing taste aside, Hollow Tree Honey also gives back to the bees by including a packet of wildflower seeds with every jar of their honey.
Five generations strong, McFarland Family Farms embraces and emphasizes the familiarity, traditions, and connections being a local farm brings to their business. The McFarlands set a high standard for the sweet corn, tomatoes, melons, and pumpkins they grow so only the best produce makes it from their Weber County farms to your table.
