Strawberries make it easy to get your daily recommended 2 cups of fruit–just eat 8 of them (about one cup), and you’re halfway there. Most of us generally know that strawberries are good for us, but did you know that 1 cup of strawberries contains less than 50 calories and has more Vitamin C than an orange? Or, that strawberries are also a good source of fiber? But, even with all of their health benefits, my favorite reason to eat strawberries is undoubtedly because they are delicious.
Today begins the Strawberry Spree at Harmons! It’s a great time to enjoy their berry goodness. Eat them straight out of the refrigerator or try them in a new way:
Throw a few sliced strawberries into your water bottle to make hydrating more interesting.
