National Family Meals Month Begins!

August 26, 2019
| Created by Hannah Langley, MS, RDN, CD

Did you know? September is National Family Meals month. It’s a time for families to commit to gathering around the table an extra time each week. Regular family meals are linked to the kinds of outcomes that we all want for our children: higher grades and self-esteem, improved emotional well-being, healthier eating habits and weights, and less risky behavior.

Here at Harmons we love this because we know Utahns appreciate strong family values and delicious food! To celebrate the month, we are highlighting simple, fast, AND delicious recipes that your family will love. We understand that juggling school routines, activities, jobs and family life can be tricky with the beginning of a new school year. We’re here to help!

Every week in September, keep an eye out for a meal display with everything you need to get dinner on the table fast. One of the recipe items will be discounted every Tuesday, so stop in then for the best deal.

This week's meal can be found here.
