Dates, a.k.a nature’s candy, are one of the most popular dried fruits out there. Although they’re famous for their sweet taste, they’re also full of nutrition, containing polyphenols, fiber, and iron. Here are a few ideas on how to incorporate dates into your diet:

·        Use ground dried dates as a sugar replacement in baking

·        Mash dried dates into a paste and use in nutrition bars or smoothie recipes

·        Stuff them with a savory dip, cheese, nuts, or nut butters

·        Chop them up and add them to salads

·        Wrap them in prosciutto for a delicious appetizer

·        Blend them up to use in these peanut butter truffles

Or just snack on them plain! Since dates are full of natural sugar, they’re a great replacement to other sugary snacks.
