March is National Nutrition Month! The theme is “Personalize Your Plate” which encourages us to choose delicious and nutritious meals while also trying something new! This week, we have curated recipes to delight your tastebuds with meal ideas from a variety of culinary traditions.
Meatless Monday 3/8: Korean Tofu Bowls
This is a flavorful rice and veggie bowl that takes advantage of savory, sweet, and spicy gochujang sauce. Served with a side of rice, it’s the perfect zippy bowl of goodness to start the week.
Eggs for dinner? Absolutely! Eggs cooked in a rich Italian sauce will have you reaching for more 7-grain bread to soak up all the flavors. Harmons Garlic Marinara Sauce provides the perfect base for this deeply flavorful dish that will have you craving eggs for dinner all the time!
Wednesday 3/10: Pre-Seasoned Chicken Fajitas
Our meat department does all the heavy prep work for you! All you need to do is gather tortillas, bagged coleslaw, plain Greek yogurt, or other favorite fajita fixings, to round out your meal. When you get home, simply sauté the fajita mix until chicken reaches 165°, serve inside warmed tortillas with desired toppings, and enjoy!
Thursday 3/11: Harmons Dinner Deal from our Kitchen.
You’ve nearly made it through the week which calls for celebration! Give yourself a break from cooking and pick up today’s dinner special. Our classic grilled chicken is served with sides of roasted vegetables and rosemary potatoes. Feed two for $7 or four for $13.
Friday 3/12: Thai Larb (Thai Pork and Rice)
You made it to Friday! Inspire your tastebuds for the weekend with this herbaceous Thai pork dish. Serve over greens (as pictured) or inside lettuce cups for a unique meal.
