With the Thanksgiving holiday coming up, most people take time to reflect on all the good things they have. Giving back comes naturally at this time of year, and one of the best ways to help others is to donate time, goods, or money to our local Utah Food Bank.

Today’s episode of the Taste of Harmons Podcast, Bob Harmon and Ginette Bott, president and CEO of the Utah Food Bank, join our host Brandon Young to discuss the importance of supporting the food bank not just at this time of year, but all year round.

Tune in to the podcast to learn about the special relationship we have with the Utah Food Bank, and more about how you can help.

And remember you can donate to our Give a Gobble fundraiser when you shop at any Harmons and through eShop. Help us provide Thanksgiving meals to Utahns in need.

Bob Harmon

Bob Harmon is the chairman for the customer at Harmons Grocery, a position he earned through years of working in stores side-by-side with associates. He met his wife, Laurie, while working in the bakery, and together they have five children.

Bob’s contribution to the company and his love of the family business are apparent in all he does. He is a heartfelt supporter of the Utah Food Bank as well as other charitable work that supports the Multiple Sclerosis Society.

Ginette Bott

Ginette Bott has been actively involved in Utah Food Bank’s mission of fighting hunger statewide for over 25 years. In 2018, she was appointed president and CEO after successful tenures as chief development officer and member of the board of directors. In addition to overseeing the statewide operations of Utah Food Bank, she is the organization’s key media spokesperson and directly oversees public and government relations.

In March 2020, Ginette rallied the force of her employees and community to distribute over 101.4 million pounds of food to those in need statewide.
