Why did Harmons install EV charging stations at its stores?
At Harmons, our commitment to a sustainable future is part of being a good neighbor. Caring for the environment ensures our world will remain a safe and healthy place for our associates, our community, and future generations.
We are all aware of the air quality issue we face along the Wasatch Front and that vehicles are a huge contributor to our poor air quality. Supporting a growing network of free EV chargers enables us to be part of the long-term solution to this issue.
Supporting our community’s transition to electric vehicles is an important part of these efforts since increasing the number of electric vehicles on our roads can help address the air-quality problem in the Salt Lake Valley. Providing this opportunity and service to associates and customers reflects Harmons values and commitment to our community.
