If you visit our store at the right time, you can hear the whirring of the immersion blender creating our silky-smooth creamy dips made fresh in store. We use wholesome ingredients to create products with quality you can taste. Whether you bring these dips to a party, share them with family, or keep them all to yourself, they will add fantastic homemade flavor to whatever is paired with them.
Our produce sous chefs work hard to produce these tasty dips…but are they good for us? Are there actually dietitian approved dips? Absolutely. Contrary to popular belief, dips can be a part of a healthy diet. They can introduce a greater variety of food groups into a meal or snack and be a means of eating more produce. However, if you’re a “ranch with a side of carrots” person it may be time to rethink your portion sizes. On most dip labels, the serving size is listed as 2 tablespoons. It’s not that dips magically become unhealthy past 2 tablespoons, but portions of dips can add up quickly with mindless snacking. If we’re reasonable and moderate with our portions, dips can be dietitian approved.
