Learning the art of bread making is like traveling to the past, where our labors were rewarded with a warm loaf of our own baked goods at suppertime. Yeasted breads are your first step into your bread baking adventure, in this hands-on workshop, you will learn the basics of mixing and baking bread, understanding yeast, starters, gluten development, and more. Chef Freyka will share her experience as a baker and teach you secrets that will help you bake great artisan bread in your own home! this hands-on workshop will teach you three types of artisan breads, Chef Freyka considers them to be the best ones to get started with as they will give you a round up understanding about the different ways to mix breads that are similar but with different humidity. Breads made in class are for our guests to take home!
