Chocolate Macarons: Italian Meringue Method

Traditional French macarons are those little cookies made out of almond meal and egg whites which are all the craze. They are not easy to make, but after this class you will be able to show off your skills with precision. Chef Daniela will demonstrate how to make macarons using the Italian meringue method. Teams of 4 will work together to make these delicious gluten-free cookies from scratch. Every guest will take home some macarons to share with family and friends. This class is built for adults, but teens 12 and up are also welcome!

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:

  • You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
  • You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
