Enchiladas and Micheladas

If you enjoy wonderful Mexican food, come join us as Chef Jake and Chef Wendy share some of their hidden secrets. Many people describe Mexican cuisine as spicy, colorful, with strong and mixed flavors, but few consider that Mexican cuisine is rich in vitamins, proteins, and minerals. One of the most popular Mexican snacks is enchilada. We’ll be making enchiladas suizas, first introduced in a restaurant called Sanborn’s in Mexico City. “Suizas” means Swiss, and the dish got this name because the recipe uses a lot of cheese and cream, and is a tribute to Swiss cuisine. We’ll also be enjoying micheladas, a Mexican drink made with beer, lime juice, assorted sauces, spices, tomato juice, and chile peppers. Join us for this delicious journey!
