This class is far from an accident, unlike the French dip sandwich! In 1918 a restaurant owner by the name of Philippe Mathieu accidentally dropped a brioche bun in the roasting pan used for the beef. The customer who ordered the sandwich said he’d eat the “dipped” sandwich regardless. and thus, the French dip sandwich was born. In this class Chef Jake and Sous Chef Bryton are going to show you how to make the perfect French dip sandwich as well as some fantastic side dishes.
