French Macarons: 101 Easter Edition

Finding these sweet jewels will be the best part of your family “egg” hunt!” We know French macarons can be a little intimidating to make, but we really believe they will be an easy task after our online workshop. Join Chef Freyka as she shares her love for creating, mixing, and of course eating macarons! She’ll guide you with ease through all the steps to make these tasty morsels, including how to decorate them with royal icing!

Note: Please refer to equipment list before enrolling. A stand-mixer (recommended) or hand mixer are needed for this class. Youth are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult if younger than 14 years of age. Contact Chef Freyka at with questions.

Each seat purchased includes a chef-prepared kit with all the ingredients you will need to create your recipes. Each kit contains ingredients for plenty of macarons for two participants to share and a includes a light meal is for two participants. Additional seats may be purchased for additional servings.

  • Kit Pickup: Please pick up your ingredient kit at Traverse Mountain Cooking School on Thursday, April 1st from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
