Online Class: Japanese Rice Bowl

In Japan, mixed rice bowls or “chirashi” (meaning scattered) bowls are a traditional meal with a base of sushi rice and scattered with a variety of fresh and flavorful toppings including, fresh fish, egg, vegetables, and condiments. Join Chef Callyn and Dietitian Ashley to learn some simple, unique recipes to customize your very own chirashi bowls at home. You’ll master recipes which can be made in advance — perfect for versatile weeknight meals or lunch on the go!

Each seat purchased includes a chef-prepared kit with all the ingredients you will need to create your recipes. Each kit contains ingredients for two servings of each recipe. Additional seats may be purchased for additional servings.

  • Kit Pickup: Please pick up your ingredient kit at Holladay Cooking School on Wednesday, June 2nd from 3:00 pm to 6:00pm
