Sourdough is the oldest living example of leavened bread, and an example of how wild yeast practically colonized the world. There are examples throughout history of fermented bread from Bern, Switzerland all the way to Egypt. In this class Sous Chef Bryton will be explaining the science of creating a starter, and how to bake the perfect loaf of sourdough bread.
