Mochi Madness

In this class we will be taking a deep dive into the wonderful world of mochi. Mochi is a type of rice snack that is made with glutinous rice that has been beaten with a wood mallet until it’s turned into a flexible paste, Mochi was often made by religious groups and was used as an offering to the Japanese gods. The fun thing about mochi is that it can be made into whatever flavors you can think of. Join Chef Jake and Sous Chef Bryton as we introduce you to the easiest and simple way to make mochi from scratch and at home no wooden mallet needed!
