Prost, friends! It’s that time of year again when we break out our beer steins and bring the lively and festive atmosphere of Oktoberfest to Harmons City Creek Cooking School! In this cooking demonstration, we will feature local beer from Templin Family Brewing (TF Brewing). You will also learn about putting together a German cheese board from Harmons Cheesemonger Casey Josephson and watch as Chef Tara and Chef Casey demonstrate classic German cooking techniques and then serve you their freshly prepared German meal.
Lederhosen and Dirndles admired but not required.
Cooking Demonstration Menu:
- German Cheese Board: Giant Pretzels, House Made Beer Mustard , House Made Sauerkraut, German Obatzda (German Cheese Spread), Hop Salted Roasted Almonds
- Main: Brats with Brown Butter Spatzle, Saurerkraut, Kartoffelknodel
- Dessert Bar: Apple Strudel, Gingerbread
Attendees for this class must be 21 years of age or older. Please be sure to remember your government-issued I.D.
