Secrets to a Perfect Steak

Join us for this informative class to learn the secrets to searing steak perfectly every time. Chef Casey will explain the science of searing from the Maillard reaction, to carry-over cooking, to how to season to perfection. We will talk Wagyu beef and what makes it so amazing! We will also create some delicious sides to complete the meal. After this class, you will no longer feel intimidated by a steak, but be confident that you will become a master. We will feature a lovely wine pairing for your meal.

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:

  • You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
  • You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
