Peruvian Chinese Family Takeout

Ni Chi Fan / Have you eaten yet?! is the phrase people from China will welcome you to their home, isn’t that a great way to greet a friend or a potential to be friend!

Peruvian-Chinese well know as “CHIFA” has roots in Cantonese cuisine and has been adapted to please the crowds of the occidental world. Join Chef Freyka and together let’s transform your home into a Peruvian-Chinese restaurant for your family. In this class, we will explore the cooking technique known as a stir-fry.  We will be using ingredients that are key to many Chinese dishes and we will learn to bring their best flavor to our plate. At the end of the class do not forget to read your fortune!

Each seat purchased includes a chef-prepared kit with all the ingredients you will need to create your recipes for a family of 4. Each kit contains ingredients for 4 servings of each recipe. Additional seats may be purchased for additional servings.

  • Kit Pickup: Please pick up your ingredient kit at Traverse Mountain Cooking School on Wednesday, April 21st, from 1:00 p.m. to 5:30 pm.
