Pretzels and Beer Cheese

The pretzel, oddly enough, has quite a fascinating origin. Legend has it that in 1614, Switzerland royal couples used a pretzel in their wedding ceremonies. The origin — at least in legend — of the phrase “tying the knot.”  In Germany, they are seen as a symbol of good luck, prosperity, and spiritual fulfillment; and were also handed out to the poor as a way of providing them with both spiritual and literal sustenance. Join Chef Jake as he teaches you how to make delicious pretzels, pretzel buns, and the perfect complement: beer cheese sauce! This will be a fun class you won’t want to miss!
