Private Event: Kayenta Dinner January ’24

As we celebrate the beginning of a new year, Harmons invites you enjoy another holiday dinner with friends!Chef Jackie has created a January theme around the wonderful seafood along the Chesapeake Bay coast.  And what better location than Cambridge, Maryland where 50,000 pounds of ice will be carved for the Ice and Oyster Fest festival beginning this weekend.

Cambridge is noted for its 36 underground railroad “depots”.  It’s also known for its giant crab cake dining experiences such as is found at  Old Salty’s Restaurant or Ocean Odyssey Crab House.Chef Jackie and Chef Jarrett hope to duplicate that seaside experience with their own giant crab cake platter dinner.  The dinner will begin with a smoked salmon deviled egg starter.  The entree will be served family style including a wintergreen citrus salad and wild rice pilaf with cranberries. Dinner will finish with a maple ice cream dessert.

The class begins at 6:00 PM, January 10 and the price for this class is $75. Although a white wine is usually served with crab we also suggest a light red such as pinot noir or gamay due to the heightened richness of crab cakes. Please contact me if you have general questions and/or wish to be removed from this mailing list.Bon Appetit!
