Progressive Chef’s Dinner: Kentucky Derby Affair

Grab a friend or partner, our chefs are off to the races and ready to help you create mouth-watering dishes perfect for the Kentucky Derby! Only our interactive online classes could allow us to have this much fun, creating a progressive meal from 3 different cooking schools right in your home. Show off your best Kentucky Derby Hat and there will be a reward for a free cooking class given to the “Best in Show” (contest participation optional). Our starting line will be at City Creek with Chef Casey to get you started, next you’ll race down to Santa Clara with Chef Jackie, head close to the finish line at Holladay Market with Chef Debbie, and at the finish line, Chef Lesli and Chef Callyn will announce the winner of our contest. Join us for this fun-filled evening!

Derby Day Virgin Mint Julep (add your own bourbon for a true Mint Julep!)
Baked Cheese and Garlic Grits
Benedictine Spread
Creamy Bourbon Chicken With Mushrooms (alcohol not included)
Kentucky Derby Chocolate Walnut Pie (chef-prepared)

Each seat purchased includes a chef prepared kit with all the ingredients you will need to create your recipes. Each kit contains ingredients for two servings each recipe. Additional seats may be purchased for additional servings.

  • Kit Pickup: Please pick up your ingredient kit at the Santa Clara cooking school on Thursday, April 29th from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
