Street Food Empanadas

Did you know that empanadas are considered “street food,” and are a snack?
The empanada is a grab-and-go morsel you take with you as you walk the streets! Surprise your family and friends at your next dinner party with the skills Chef Freyka will teach you as you make empanadas from her native and neighboring countries! Doughs chosen for this class cover the majority of those used to make different empanadas across Latin America including a simple handmade dough, a thin and delicate dough and even how to use conventional pre-made puff pastry! With your new-found knowledge, you will be able to expand your skills with a variety of delicious fillings, wrapped in the doughs you’ll create.  Come hungry! Class attendees will make enough empanadas to enjoy during class, with plenty to share.

Menu:
Peruvian Empanadas de Carne
