Grab a friend, it’s time to party! Discover the art of making tamales! The process of crafting tamales is usually a family affair, with recipes passed down from generation to generation.  Join Chef Casey to learn the art of tamale making. From dough making and how to wrap them, to steaming a perfect tamale, this workshop is an in-depth experience to last a lifetime, and beyond, as you pass it down your family’s line.

Come hungry! Class attendees will make enough tamales to satisfy any appetite, with plenty more to take home.

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:

  • You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
  • You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.
