Tres Leches for Mom

Let’s make a dessert for Mother’s Day! There is plenty to do on the special day, from breakfast to dinner, so come and learn to make this classic dessert, a favorite to so many moms. Tres Leches is a light cake, that soaks up a delicious milk mixture, and our dessert will be frosted with a Lemon Crème Chantilly. This class is dedicated to the preparation of this 1 dessert (serves 12) from beginning to end, to be stashed away for Mother’s Day. We’re here to take away at least one little thing from your Sunday preparation list and end your day with a big WOW! This class will give you all the ingredients you need to make this dessert, and during our class, we will learn and discuss cake baking methods.

Each seat purchased includes a chef-prepared kit with all the ingredients you will need to create your recipe. You may participate with a guest to help you prepare your recipe. Additional seats may be purchased for additional servings.

  • Kit Pickup: Please pick up your ingredient kit at Traverse Mountain Cooking School (located on the mezzanine) on Friday, May 7th, from 1 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
