Teen Chef 4-Day Summer Cooking Camp: Street Food

Summer time is coming, and we’re inviting teens ages 12-17 to join us in learning how to make delicious and easy street food!

Send your Teen Chef for an fun and educational experience to taste and learn how to make street food from cuisines and cultures around the world! They will also get to work with peers in a safe and helpful environment, learning new skills and techniques to use in the kitchen. Chef Daniela will be making delicious international cuisine to share with all of her students! Ages: 13 years old and up

Date: Tuesday, August 1st through Friday, August 4th, 2023

Time: 9:30 am – 1:30 pm, daily

Skills and Techniques

• Learn proper knife skills and safety procedures in the kitchen
• Try different flavor and ingredient combinations
• Use teamwork to create meals together
• Explore different foods and find a passion for cooking and baking

Our meals this week, including but not limited to:

1. That’s a Wrap:  Food Truck Waffles, Sauces, Wraps, Cut Veggies, Bacon
2. Variety of Eggs and Bacon, Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwiches, Pickled Red Onions, Coleslaw and Brioche Buns
3. Baking: Corn Bread Muffins with Honey Butter, Biscuits, Shortbread, Scones

Included with camp:

• Harmons Cooking School Apron
• Harmons Junior Chef Recipe Book
• Recipes used in class
• Field trips around the store
