What is Dietitians Choice?

Dietitians Choice is like having your own personal dietitian at your side to help you navigate the store aisles, make recommendations, and endorse healthy products.

Our registered dietitians break the science of nutrition down into real-world healthy living solutions, so products marked as Dietitians Choice have our dietitians’ stamp of approval when it comes to nutritional value. Look for the Dietitians Choice label on products throughout the store to be sure the product has been reviewed and approved by Harmons own staff of dietitians as good food that’s good for you.

Ashley has always been passionate about food, health, and wellness. She is happiest when she can share the message that eating can be enjoyable AND nutritious! Whether you are looking for personalized nutrition counseling, tips and tricks, or ideas to liven up your menu, Ashley is ready to help.

Prior to studying nutrition, Ashley completed a professional massage therapy program and a Bachelor Degree in Behavioral Science. After working in wellness for six years, she realized that the best way she could help others was through nutrition, so she went on to complete the Coordinated Master’s Program in Nutrition at the University of Utah. With this comprehensive background, Ashley brings a balanced, practical, and straightforward approach to nutrition that acknowledges the whole person.

When she’s not at Harmons, you can find Ashley practicing yoga, being obsessed with her dog, listening to live music, dancing, hiking, and of course, as a foodie, cooking and baking in her kitchen.

Serving customers at our Holladay, Lehi, Orem, and Taylorsville stores, Ashley can be reached at (385) 352-8023, or via email at ashleyquadros@harmonsgrocery.com.

Genevieve Daly, RDN, CD

As a teenager, Genevieve began watching cooking shows which sparked an interest in food. She has since tried her hand at various ethnic dishes and has developed a love for trying new recipes to serve to her lucky friends and family.

Genevieve graduated from Utah State University with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition, Dietetics and Food Sciences. She loves sharing her knowledge of food and nutrition with both children and adults. From nutrition counseling to grocery store tours, Genevieve is excited to help you adopt a healthy yet delicious lifestyle.

Genevieve loves to travel, and makes sure to try native food from every new place she visits. Having worked a harvest at a winery in Sonoma, CA, Genevieve believes that every good dinner should be accompanied by a good wine.

She hopes you will let her share her love of food and wine with you. Cheers!

Serving customers at our City Creek and Seventh Street stores, and at Emigration Market; Genevieve can be reached at (801) 428-0364, or via email at genevievedaly@harmonsgrocery.com.

Heather Lieber, RDN, CD

Heather's interest in nutrition sparked from her passion for both delicious food and overall wellness. She completed her degree in Nutrition and Dietetics through Utah State University, and her dietetic internship in the St. George area.

She believes that small, sustainable lifestyle changes can have big payoffs over time. Her philosophy is that there is no one-diet-fits-all. She is here to find the nutrition plan that is as unique and individualized as you are.

Heather is the Registered Dietitian serving customers and associates of Station Park, Bangerter Crossing, Draper, and Roy.

When she is not at Harmons she can be found with the mountains. Climbing up them, biking over them, and running through them.

Serving customers at our Bangerter Crossing, Draper, Roy and Station Park stores, Heather can be reached at (801) 928-2634, or via email at heatherlieber@harmonsgrocery.com.

Jonnell Masson, MS, RDN, CD

As one of Harmons' registered dietitians, Jonnell is passionate about making healthy habits easy for our customers.

Jonnell provides on-site nutritional coaching and education. So whether you’re looking to infuse your current recipes with fresh ingredients, or you seek individual nutrition counseling or a health screening, Jonnell is here to help.

Having completed the Coordinated Master’s Program in Nutrition from the University of Utah, Jonnell really knows her stuff. The importance of making healthy choices is something she knows first-hand.

While living in Italy, Jonnell noticed a strong focus on eating healthy and staying fit. In contrast, a move to Germany presented a less than healthy view of food. This contrast sparked her interest in understanding the link between food and health.

Jonnell loves helping Harmons’ customers achieve their health and wellness goals, and when asked what she likes best about her job, Jonnell responded with honesty and sensibility: “Let’s be real, I love food!”

Serving customers at our West Valley and Brickyard stores, Jonnell can be reached at (801) 865-0304, or via email at jonnellmasson@harmonsgrocery.com.

As a dietitian, Joy Phillips believes healthy eating and wellness should be a doable and positive experience for everyone. Joy’s personal nutrition motto is do what works for you! She is passionate about finding healthy and helpful ways to incorporate nutrition into people's everyday lives in a way that works for them.

Joy studied Dietetics at Brigham Young University. She increased her love for nutrition and wellness while working as the dietitian for a school district and as a food service management dietitian. She is thrilled to be a part of the Harmons’ team!

When she is not at Harmons, Joy likes to spend her time boxing, walking her two small dogs, and enjoying quality time with family.

Serving customers at our Mountain View, District, South Jordan, and Cougar stores, Joy can be reached at, 385-257-6443 or via email at joyphillips@harmonsgrocery.com.

Melanie Taylor, MS, RDN, CD

As a native to St. George, Melanie has passion for teaching people in Utah’s Dixie how to eat well whatever their circumstances may be. From individual counseling to a tour of the grocery store, Melanie is available to help you take nutrition information and turn it into a positive grocery store experience.

Melanie’s personal and professional involvement with diabetes and celiac disease make her a valuable resource to customers with specific health concerns. Her passion for good food and cooking help her relate to everyone who appreciates a good meal!

After earning a bachelor’s degree at Southern Utah University, Melanie completed the Coordinated Master’s Program in Nutrition at the University of Utah. Since becoming a registered dietitian in 2002, she has worked in areas of education, food service, and nutrition consulting and is excited to now be a part of the Harmons’ team.

Providing individual and specialized nutritional services geared at achieving and maintaining a healthy lifestyle, Sarah’s goal is to help Harmons shoppers recognize that shopping for and cooking healthy food can actually be fun.

Sarah received a bachelor degree in dietetics from Indiana University. After a move to Utah and a visit to Harmons, she immediately knew that she wanted to be a part of the Dietitians Choice Program.
