INGREDIENTS:
- 8-10 large lemons
- 1 cup sugar
- 6 cups water
- Ice
- Lemon slices, optional
DIRECTIONS:
Wash, dry, and quarter lemons.
In a stand mixer fitted with the paddle attachment, add lemon quarters and mix on low speed for 2 minutes. Strain juice through a fine-mesh sieve into a large measuring cup or bowl. Add sugar and stir until dissolved. Add water to a serving pitcher and chill. Add lemon-sugar mixture and stir to combine. Chill lemonade for at least 1 hour before serving. Serve lemonade over ice with lemon slices, if using.
