Steak with Creamy Garlic Shrimp

  • 3 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz uncooked shrimp deveined, tails removed
  • Salt and Pepper
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/4 cup dry white wine or low-sodium chicken broth
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 cup fresh shredded parmesan cheese
  • Your favorite Double R Ranch steak

Melt 2 tablespoons butter in a skillet. Add shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until slightly pink; then, set aside.

In the same skillet, add remaining butter and garlic, and sauté until fragrant. Pour in the wine or broth and let it reduce by half. Reduce the heat to low/medium and stir in heavy cream and simmer.

As it thickens, add the parmesan and let it melt. Once it’s melted and thickened, remove from the heat and add back the shrimp. Mix and sprinkle with parsley, then serve on top of your finished steak.
