- 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
- 1 bu asparagus tough ends removed
- 3 oz prosciutto, cut in half lengthwise
- 1 egg plus 1 tsp water
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper.
Place puff pastry on a cutting board. Using a fluted or straight pasta roller, cut pastry in 1/2″ strips. Wrap 1 half-piece of prosciutto around asparagus. Wrap pastry around asparagus. Place wrapped asparagus on prepared baking sheet and brush with egg wash. Bake until lightly golden, about 10 minutes. Turn baking sheet a half turn on rack and continue to cook until golden brown and slightly puffed, about 10 minutes.
