- 1 ripe avocado
- 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
- 1 Tbsp lime juice (about 1/2 lime)
- 1/2 jalapeno, seeds and stem removed
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- 1 garlic clove
Combine all ingredients in food processor until thoroughly mixed, smooth, and fluffy. Add small amounts of water to thin if desired.
Note: If a food processor is not available: mash avocado with fork and finely mince all other ingredients. Combine in a bowl, add a dash of water to thin, then whisk vigorously.
Serve atop salads, tacos, bowls, toast, and protein entrees; inside sandwiches, wraps, and burritos; or as a dip for fresh cut vegetables.
