Mediterranean Mezze

We can’t all get away to a dreamy cruise, but we can eat like it! Join Chef Jackie and Dietitian Melanie for a night of Mediterranean feasting–for the fun and health of it. Mediterranean food reminds us of bright fresh flavors and pure ingredients, plus the Mediterranean Diet has been proven as one of the most healthful eating styles. So escape the cold for a night of cozy dining. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make various Mediterranean dishes. Our motto is “everything in moderation” so we will be pairing this hands-on class with a perfect glass of wine to help you feel like you are sitting on a Grecian seaside.

Seats are priced per person.

Attendees for this class must be 21 years of age or older. Please be sure to remember your government-issued I.D.

What to expect in a hands-on Harmons Cooking School class:

  • You’ll work together with other students in a fun, hands-on environment led by our professional chef instructors.
  • You will be working in small groups, sharing workstations and equipment.
  • Classes are 2 to 2 1/2 hours unless otherwise noted above.
  • You will be standing, cooking, and working for most of the class. Please wear comfortable, closed-toe shoes and have long hair tied back.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Are we cooking everything on the listed menu?
To provide you with an enjoyable experience in a timely fashion, you will most likely be cooking 2 or 3 items from the menu. If you have any questions regarding the menu or cooking process for any of the recipes, please feel free to ask our chefs.

Will I be cooking alone?
No, our classes are designed for you to cook in groups at one of our 4 stations in the school. If you’ve purchased a ticket for yourself, you will be assigned to a station at the coordinator/chef’s discretion. If you have purchased multiple tickets for a group on a single order, your group will be assigned to a station to cook together.

Can I bring my own beverage (alcoholic or non-alcoholic)?
For public classes and events, you may bring outside nonalcoholic beverages for your consumption. Outside alcoholic beverages are NOT allowed in the cooking school.

I have an allergy/food restriction, can I still participate in a class?
Yes, we encourage any participants to include any food restrictions when signing up for the class in the comment section of the event page. Our team may reach out for further details and instructions.

Can my child participate in a class that isn’t a Junior Chef event?
We encourage parents to use their own discretion when signing their children up for public classes. If the class is listed as “21+” we cannot allow children to participate. Any of our other hands-on classes are suitable for children ages 14 and up. Tickets are priced per person, if a parent would like to cook with their child, they must purchase a ticket for themselves as well. We offer Junior Chef classes every month for children ages 5 and up.
