Charcuterie Boards

The term “charcuterie” dates back to 15th century France and refers to the preparation of cured meats, like prosciutto, salami, etc. But today a charcuterie board can include a variety of cured meats and cheeses, along with a selection of mustards, chutneys, nuts, prepared vegetables, dipping sauces, and spreads.  Join Chef Nancy in creating the perfect charcuterie board for the holiday season. Chef Nancy will share her food ideas in helping you select a theme, display your board, and ideas on combining two or three boards to create a Grazing Table.

Chocolate, Cheese and Wine Pairing with Amedei Toscana

Amedei Toscana is one of the world’s foremost bean-to-bar chocolate makers, internationally known as a pioneer for environmentally conscious, fine chocolate making. Their chocolate journey begins in the tropics where their selected master growers cultivate an unsurpassed cocoa, culminating in a small, painted-brick artisan workshop in the rolling hills of Tuscany, outside Pisa. Join Chef Callyn, our friends from Amedei and Harmons certified cheese professionals for an evening of exploration of the flavor, versatility and pairing possibilities of chocolate. You will taste a collection of Amedei’s chocolates, paired with Harmons cheeses and unique small bites. Don’t miss this unique experience!

Bûche de Noël Workshop

A workshop you can’t miss! Learn to make a traditional Christmas Yule Log cake or Bûche de Noël from scratch with Chef Freyka! We will bake our sponge cake, create our fillings and decorations with easy ideas and scrumptious flavors. At the end of class each participant will take home a Bûche de Noël to share at their Christmas table!

Harmons Steakhouse

Have you ever found yourself drooling over the dry aged steaks that we are so proud of at Harmons?

This is our last hands on class of the year and we want to celebrate with a night where we will cook with ease and have fun. Gather around the stove to participate in this ultimate eating experience where you will learn to sear the perfect steak. Chef Freyka will show you what all the fuss is about when it comes to dry aged steak, and let you taste the different type of steaks to educate your palate. In this hands-on experience each guest will be cooking their own steaks. Join us for this immersive experience!

Tagines of Morocco with wine pairing

Discover the delicious flavors of North African tagines with a contemporary touch. These tagines, along with distinctive sauces and dips, are made by pounding or blending olive oil and garlic with various ingredients such as nuts, seeds, spices, herbs, and aromatics. Chef Nancy will take you on a culinary journey to Morocco where you will learn how to make these amazing sauces, dips, and the perfect tagine. We will have a lovely wine pairing with this class. Non-Alcoholic options are always available.

Provençal Farmhouse Cuisine

Come along with us to wine and dine Provençal style! The cassoulet, a slow-simmered stew of white beans, duck confit, and andouille sausage is one of France’s most iconic dishes from the Languedoc region.  Staying true to the rustic intentions of the cassoulet, Chef Nancy will teach you how to create this high-spirited but simple dish, timed for more modern lifestyles. A bold red wine,  green salad, and finishing with an apple tarte tatin will make a night you won’t forget and one you will want to replicate! We will enjoy a glass of wine with our meal.

Sushi Time: Dragon Rolls and Fried Rolls

The craft of sushi making is a time-honored tradition in Japan, a matter of intense national pride. It’s often noted that the red of the fish and the white of the rice symbolize the colors of the Japanese flag. But you don’t need to visit Japan to learn some basics for sushi. Our Sushi  class will give you insight and resources for making your own sushi. Chef Daniela will walk you through the techniques of rolling, assembling and the knife skills you will need to make your own sushi . This time you  will learn how to make fried rolls as well.
